​Thank you for visiting my page!

 I've been addicted to wild places ever since my father first took me trout fishing in Yellow River State Forest in northeast Iowa. I love teaching others about enjoying and conserving natural beauty and have been fortunate enough to work in some beautiful places, including Glacier National Park,  the northwoods of Wisconsin.  

My freelance work has been featured in a variety of places, including Iowa Outdoors magazine, Big River magazine, Wapsipinicon Almanac, Travel Iowa, the Cedar Rapids Gazette, the Des Moines Register, and  on the cover of the State of Iowa Travel Map.

In 2024, I was honored to receive the People's Choice Award at Elkader Art in the Park Regional Fine Art Festival.
